On July 12, 2024, the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, visited Salt Lake City to meet with American businessmen and philanthropists, urging their involvement in Ukraine’s ongoing recovery efforts.

She thanked the attendees for their support and highlighted the devastating consequences of the recent Russian shelling of Okhmatdyt Cancer Treatment Children's Hospital in Kyiv.
