The first chicken coop in Senior Chudo Village

During the May trip to Ukraine, our founder, Dell Loy Hansen, and the US team had a chance to be a part of the grand opening of the first chicken coop in Senior Chudo Village. This chicken coop was produced in the village wood workshop and will serve as a model for even more chicken coops that will be a part of an exciting project for the citizens of the Senior Chudo Village.

“Residents will be not only using the eggs, but they will be able to sell the eggs. Being able to have this small financial support really means a lot and it brings that dignity back. These amazing seniors have so much knowledge and so much energy. I wouldn’t be surprised if we become famous at building chicken coops.” - Mary Van Minde, executive director of Hansen Ukrainian Mission in the USA.
