September visit to Ukraine

September has been incredibly productive. Following an unforgettable trip to Disneyland with children from Hansen Village and Hansen Apartments, our founder, Dell Loy Hansen, visited Ukraine to assess the progress of ongoing projects and reconnect with those who have become part of the Hansen Ukrainian Mission family.

During his visit, many wonderful things took place:

  • 21 families, recently evacuated from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Sumy regions, moved into Hansen Apartments.

  • We celebrated the grand opening of the renovated clubhouse in the village of Sloboda, Chernihiv region.

  • The final construction phase of Hansen Village began.

  • Hundreds of tulips were planted to bring even more life and color to our villages.

  • We welcomed new international friends who will help share the stories of resilient Ukrainians with the world.

While much has been accomplished, there’s still a lot of exciting work ahead as we continue to help Ukraine rebuild its beauty and strength. It’s an honor to serve those who have lost everything.

Stay with us to see where our Ukrainian story leads next.
